The Big Sandy Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)In his debut novel author Mitch Terry has crafted a rip snortin', come-a-courtin', rootin' tootin', six gun shootin', gender switchin', sons-a-bitchin', rawhide, hard ride, bona fide Western. The story follows the trials and adventures of IDA MAE SCHWEISTAHL, a.k.a. the Big Sandy Kid, with plenty of action and colorful, often violent, characters. Terry keeps things moving with twists of plot, locale and identity. It's an interesting ride that takes sudden, violent turns enroute to the inevitable showdown. This may be Terry's first outing as a Western writer, but he came out with both guns drawn and blasting.
