(More customer reviews)The "Life and Adventures of Billy Dixon of Adobe Walls, Texas, Panhandle" is a good and interesting view from a personal perspective of a seminal period in the history of the West. The publishers of this edition are to be congratulated for their motivation to make such books again more generally available. There were, however, two pages (critical - on Quanah Parker) missing. AND, if I had seen the cover before buying, I likely would not have picked the book off a shelf - so they should make some effort to have the cover resemble the inside.
