(More customer reviews)I purchased the book by David Long last year and read it thoroughly over the winter and again just before the hunt. The book is very well layed out and lots of short bits of information to summarize chapters and key points. He has a wealth of information and experience on Mule deer hunting in the West and it is easy to follow his train of thought in finding deer. I really liked the fact that he focused his book towards the public land DIY hunters. I also liked the DVD that accompanied the book, a nice addition for the cost of the book. Overall, it is money well spent and just might help you take a trophy mule deer. Remember - Luck favors the prepared mind, and you will need a lot of both to hunt the grey ghosts of the West.
