I think many of us might remember, Francis The Talking Mule on TV in the 1950s...well, this little children's storybook - Francis The Farting Mule - is kind of a take-off from there, with a little of Walter The Farting Dog idea mixed-in. Francis sure comes out smelling like a rose...but you wouldn't stink so..I mean, think so, along the way of the Fourth-of-July Parade Line-up. But when the author has his deja-vu and remembers something from the past (way past) - something about him and Francis, well, a great good farting ole time starts to manifest for both male and mule. It may not be the original 20-Mule-Team wagon-train, but it can sure make a nice duo for a Veggie Parade. And along the way, the reader gets a tail - that is, a tale - of some new-age rights and morals to live by.
This is a kindle to share with any kid as you tuck 'em in the ole fart sack, before turning off the lite and saying good nite...and then the both of you can have a laughing & farting good time, all the way into your dreams.
['Kindle' means 'little child', in the Bavarian dialect.]

I first saw Francis - or, rather, should I say, heard him, in our Main Street Parade. It was the Fourth of July and everyone was expecting to have a farting good time - but no one took that literally. ...
