(More customer reviews)New Shoes for Chili Bean is a great book to first read to children and later they will enjoying reading the book themselves. All children can relate to Chili Bean's dreams and challenges as he grows up. I loved the colorful full page illustrations that help tell the story of practice and dedication being rewarded. I will be giving a copy of this book to every child I know. Thank you Kathy Smith for such an inspiring story!!
