The setting for this true story is Allentown, Pennsylvania and later lower Delaware. It is a very emotionally moving and inspiring story of a mother's love and struggle to help her son overcome his handicap and survive.

During World War ll, the four horses of the Apocalypse unleashed war, famine, disease and death against the ill-prepared people of the world's free nations. Americans were staggered to their knees by the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor in Dec ember 1941.They rose up in unison and armed themselves against the aggressor. The young boy had lain flat on his back, bed ridden and paralysis as war clouds loomed near. He musters every ounce of strength and courage to forge ahead on an epic jouney to get himself back in the game of life.
