This book should become the standard that all beginners and intermediates turn to, it is a must have on the book shelf at home or in the barn. I was really impressed that so many subjects pertaining to drafts and mules were covered and in such detail. The clear explanations of everything from confirmation, feeding, training, harnessing ,vet care, hoofcare and all the illustrations make it easy to read and understand. I really loved the real life profiles of draft owners and their horses from around the country that were inserted throughout the book, it made it more personal and tied all the information together into a perfect package.
