It is obvious from the very first page that this author is extremely prejudice and dare I say racist in his remarks. He calls the people of this region "ruffians" and recaps the French colonization of Algeria as a triumph that the Western world should be proud of despite the fact that any modern scholar would first call to mind the blood and oppression that eventually caused the citizens to revolt and regain control of their country.
Due to the abundant colorful words that the author employs at every page, this book is not even a good resource from a historical standpoint. Completely worthless in every respect, unfortunately...
