(More customer reviews)I started reading this book and could not put it down. Perhaps for me this book was something very special that it may not be to all. I travel the hills of California on a regular basis, in search of treasure, or just the opportunity to pretend that I am that forty-niner in 1877 digging around in a cold, dark, creaking mine. There is something incredibly relaxing about stepping back in time and exploring a miner's stomping ground. Well if lost treasure intrigues you, and you love short stories, than buy this book. You will not be unhappy!

This volume, the seventh in W.C. Jameson's buried treasures series, contains thirty such tales of forgotten riches. It was these tales and others like them that drove westware expansion, and though many of the legendary California treasures have been unearthed, many still remain.
