Treasure at El Dorado Review

(More customer reviews)My husband read this book first. He wanted to know when the next one would be out.I then read the book and also enjoyed it. I felt as if I were along the dusty trails with the cast of charachters. I hope the trail does not end here. I want to be a part of Will and Victoria's journey. Thanks

In the action-packed Treasure at El Dorado, Roberts weaves a tale of adventure during the early Gold Rush in the untamed West.
A young cowboy named Will Roberts was once told by his grandfather to go west when he was grown, ''Somewhere out there, you'll find your treasure.'' Will follows his advice and in doing so, saves a crusty old prospector named Salty from the wrath of a couple of the Lardman brothers who are trying to steal his gold mine. The brothers are killed and Salty rewards Will with a stake in his mine. Is this the treasure of which his grandfather spoke?
This event starts a chain reaction as the remaining Lardman brothers seek revenge. These outlaws transport danger wherever they go--robbing and killing emigrants traveling west, stealing cattle and horses, gunfighting, and drunken debauchery in saloons along the way. No one is safe from their treachery.
After a gruesome discovery brings brave lawmen to tears, two posses converge to bring the Lardman gang to justice. But Will has an even greater task. He must reach the small town of El Dorado to save his new love, Victoria, before the most vile and savage Lardman of them all finds her first.
