(More customer reviews)I actually enjoyed reading this book. Consider why you want to read this book prior to purchase. In my case I am immensely interested in this period of history, I want the 'feel' of the times and am looking for more names & places to further research. The narrative of Ryus is sufficiently interesting. I am glad that I purchased and read the book.
