If you like John Grisham or James Patterson, you'll really enjoy The Copper Trader. It's an engaging story that moves at a breakneck pace from the plush offices of a Chicago trading house to a ski chalet in Argentina to the wilds of Chile. The author's prose flows effortlessly from detailed descriptions that are just dead-on to quick-hitting action. I especially enjoyed the character development of the protagonist, Drew Madison. As a rising star at Longwell Metals, Drew has it all: money, status, and more money. But things aren't what they seem at Longwell and Drew's life spirals out of control. Caught between the Mob and the FBI with no way out that can save his family, Drew must make an impossible choice. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and have already wrapped up a few copies as gifts for my friends that love thrillers.
