(More customer reviews)I love to read historical fiction but I always wonder about the accuracy of the history. Knowing this novel was created by an expert researcher as well as an excellent writer, I have no doubt that I honestly experienced this fascinating period of our continent's history as I read this powerful novel. The characters were not modern day heroes transported into history. They were in fact interesting and believable members of that long gone society. I will continue to consider Peter Dorn an intimate acquaintance. Thank you Shirley Keran for a fine work of literature.
